WHY Cabinet Contractor say is wrong?

What happen when youself act as Contractor or Maincon, handle the renovation your own?
What happen when you hire someone with lower skills and experience?
What happen when you hire foreigner to construct the kitchen cabinet because he offer lower rate?

Well, the worst case is you need to hack and re-do the whole kitchen cabinet body; but is less happening unless you really made yourself in very big trouble.

So based on our experience, the major problem happen on the “LEG” that support the concrete tile top.
Is look like what we circle with RED pen in above picture.
Some worker they might leave the gaps in 1.5″, 1″ or 0.5″; All of this dimension was wrong.
The recommended gaps are 2.5″ (2.5 inch) approximately 60cm.
This is because when we come to install the Cabinet part, we need to install support wood batten for door.
The wood batten mostly we used are in size 2″x2″, this is the standard size to allow us to install Door Hinges.
That is the reason we need gaps better in 2.5inch.

Hope it can helps your guys to understand it…
